I have almost no idea about what you guys have been arguing here but it's quite easy to take you for a troll when you can't tell the difference between a new model of an existing console and a whole new console.

All I've said is that using just time as a factor to determine what is a next-gen console clearly doesn't work. That's not trolling; that's pointing out the obvious. I didn't realise it'd get so many people's pants in a twist.

It's funny how you're assuming I'm on his side when I haven't even read your debate nor have I said anything about it. I have no idea if his arguments are flawed or not but I just saw it fit to answer your totally flawed argument which was quite easy to answer even without reading the rest. You, on the other hand, completely avoided my point. Obviously we're talking about next-gen consoles here and not next-gen tech. Maybe you have a problem with Viper1's definition of next-gen console but it's hard to argue about it when you stray from the topic (next-gen consoles) to another (next-gen tech). Well, I guess you had a problem but I'm glad to hear to managed to clear the confusion.
