From what I gather if this call was made the game wouldn't have came down to the last play of the game anyway. Also, if I were a ref on the field I would call it a touchdown too knowing that there is a better chance of getting the call right that way being that scoring plays are reviewed |
Refs did blow a call twice in Seahawks favor. Once when Gennings made the first down(short of TD cause he was out of bounds), but the ball was placed bad so they gave third and short. Then when Aaron ran for a first which was called short, but McCarthy threw a challenge flag that reversed the play to a first down. So ya the refs blew a call for the pack, but luckily McCarthy is a very smart challenger.
The refs blew it once not calling the PI, but again with the obvious interception. Yes, there were a couple of bad calls that didn't go in seahawks favor, but nothing that was game threating like these.
