The Virtual Boy was more revolutionary than the SNES too.
People focus way too much on that. Fun comes from execution and having a well rounded game library with consistently releases of good content. And nowadays a solid online experience.
The Wii was great as far as getting grandpa and mom and pop to try Wii Sports, but long term, I think really it brought to the forefront just a crap load of shovelware.
Gimme more games like Bayonetta 2 and Monolith RPGs and Zombi U and I will take the Wii U over the Wii any day of the week.
