The thing is, that other 1 GB isn't going to help games (directly, at least).

well some of it will likely be made available for games later (like the 3DS). and on top of that, it is still about 4x the amount of RAM the PS3 and maybe 360 had (i cant find the amount it uses for gaming right now).
