I think it could be hard yes, because the move pointer is calculated through the motion sensors, while the Wiimote pointer is simply an infrared triangulation.
I'm far from a tech guy, but I think it is apples and oranges. If you play Killzone 3 with the move you will notice lag on the cursor and it doesn't feel like the pointer is placed right where you are pointing, while with the wiimote it is almost exactly where you are aiming at. But some games that use wiimotion plus are using the same pointing technique as the move, such as Zelda Skyward Sword and you'll see that the pointer is laggy and not accurate comparing to IR as seen in the Conduit and Red Steel 2.
