I'm wondering how many of you in here are like: IR controls >>>>>>> dual analog.

For me, dual analog is the reason why I never cared about the FPS genre on consoles. Just played Black on PS2 because it was a really amazing game, Far Cry on Xbox 1 because it completely blew everything else away back in the time, and a Turok game on Gamecube because it had crazy multiplayer up to 4 people.

While I enjoyed those games, I always felt frustrated by the controls. Dual analog for me becomes a pain in the ass when you want to quickly pin point something at the screen. Such a thing didn't happen on mouse controls and I always thought: FPS's are just lame on consoles.

When the Wii came out, even playing the Mediocre Red Steel made me love FPS games instantly. Now I can't go back to dual analog ever.

That's why I'm worried about lack of comments from developers about supporting the good old wiimote and nunchuk on upcoming Wii shooters.

As far as things go, I'd like to play ZombiU and Aliens Colonial Marines, but having a fancy touchscreen and fancy mechanics around the new controller doesn't make up for the fact it is still dual analog set up.

So, how many of you Wii FPS hipsters are worried too about this ?

UPDATE1
