Raido Kazunoha is in every Devil Summoner. It is the name of whoever the current summoner is. There is even a Raido Kazunoha in the Persona 2s.
Atlus bringing in the one from the PS2 games is just pandering to fans of the PS2 game though. I don't like it. Doing things like that distort the plots. We don't need multiple Raido's in the same game. They are suppose to do one then move on to the next.

Maybe I'll just start with SMTIV...
It was originally a Sega Saturn game.
Yeah I know. But it should be obvious from the title that I'm talking about the one from the Raidou games since he's the only popular one.
Also how does this distort the plot? He's only a boss in the EX dungeon. The only other Kuzunoha in this game is Kyouji...who isn't a Raidou Kuzunoha. The scarred Raidou is from a parallel universe and he's in Raidou 1 and 2...

Umm...you don't fight Jesus. God/YHVH isn't even in this game and isn't in many of the games (let alone an actual fight with him). Plus it's just a game...
Well, the writing and story style is differet from the era of each of those games. To get the PS2 Raidou in here would require a distortion in the old plot structure and style which was more like the old SMT games and the first Persona's.
He doesn't serve any purpose outside of fanservice. I would rather they use the Riadou from the end of the first on the PS2. That one would make a lot more sense. They've already given him 2 games and rereleased SMT III with him fudged into it.
