This is like the 700th time this article has been posted in these forums. It may have been worded differently, and by a different author; but it's the same mindless bullshit by people who ignorant about the gaming industry. Nintendo failed with the Gamecube and didn't go third party; and I doubt going third party would improve their financial situation very much - which was largely due to currency exchange rates causing the 3DS to have to sell at a loss in Western markets for the past year. Plus they made 20 billion dollars this generation - I don't think the losses of a few hundred million are going to make them give up what they've been best at doing for the past 25 years; and while others plotted and landscaped the field, Nintendo built the foundation and the house that is the videogaming industry.
