No it failed because it was a plain ripoff with extra buttons. You guys praised it becasue you thought it was gonna help, i saw some pretty decent commercials and wow you guys still stick to the lack of commercials excuse lol. |
LOL...you guys? Im not on any side here, I just follow the games. I am not a motion control advocate either, but I have used the Move and it IS the most precise peripheral gimmick I've ever used. It forces you to move your body with the wand while the camera tracks you. It has potential beyond the Wii and Kinect. It does what both of the competitions peripherals do and more. Sony has been trying to penetrate the casual market since last gen and the Kinect is basically the more powerful version of what Sony has been working on. Its a better quality tech device, but it was sold to the masses poorly and had a bad selection of games. Anyone who has used it can admit that. Sony dont want the Wii, they saw that the Wii motes give more control, so if you couple that with a powerful camera the amount of control you would have over a 3D space would be unrivaled. They found the answer, but the never capitalized on it. Its as simple as that.
