I don't think these are Nintendo fans complaining; more like detractors. I consider myself a Nintendo fan, and I can't see how a true fan would be complaining about being given the two largest new franchises (Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect) of this passing generation. It makes no sense. Do you really want some junior version or spinoff version of the series?
I will say this as well, as much as I liked the Crystal Chronicles game on Wii, a port of Final Fantasy X would have been MUCH prefered.
