But one stick is not fine. How can the 3DS become the new home of Monster Hunter when you need that awkward add on?

The old 3DS model's battery is atrocious, why is that not being fixed for the old one?

One stick is fine. The PSP managed it just fine, and if you need two, the option's always there for the CPPro, which, lest we forget, also includes 2 additional buttons (and where would those go?)

Dunno why they aren't changing the battery. But 4 hours isn't terrible. A cost thing?

But the PSP was not fine. Sony fans complained about it during its entire lifetime. And the addon makes the device far too bulky to be used like a proper handheld.

4 hours is what the game gear could do (or maybe less than the game gear?). It's mentioned in every gaming retrospect how stupid Nintendo's competitors were for doing pretty graphics but short battery. If Nintendo start doing it themselves, they deserve the same critisism, they, if any should know better.
