Im talking about the Wii U not a handheld device. Second of all theres no proof that 70% of users who buy the Wii U are casual. Sure, the Wii U will have a clear male/female 50-50% split like the DS did and the Wii, but Nintendos dedicated fans tend to buy their handhelds and have been supporting them since the original Gameboy. A lot of their best games come out on their handhelds. It's majorly children holding up the sales of the DS as well. If you ask me the kids are pretty hardcore about the DS.
