I've had a two PS2s, my 360 and a Gameboy PHAIL on me ... The 360, however, was yanked across the room when my son ran past it once. |
I guess I've been very unlucky with systems. I had my N64 break down 2 weeks after I got it for Christmas and my gameboy advance, which was also a Christmas gift, that just wouldn't power on anymore. As for Sony products: 2 PS1's & 3 PS2's. After that I just gamed on the GC & Xbox. This gen it seems MS is the only one with console faults which makes things look worse when your main competitor has stepped up their reliability.
The main point here is reliability. No one wants to always wonder when the new appliance they bought is going to crap out. The only reason I went through the process of repairing my 360 is because of software. That really makes it hard to just walk away. That's why it's good MS started to take care of that problem before Sony hits their stride.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
