How can Rayman Legends have 5 player co-op if Wii-U supports only 2 controllers?

Either 4 Pros and a Upad or
4 Wii Controllers and a Upad or
any combination of the two.

And it doesn't seem right now that there are any games that are being made for two Upads, and that may be a good thing. Because there is really little need for it.
