I wouldn't worry about Mario Party 9. Even if it only does 1/3 as well as MP8, it will still sell millions. And if the game is as good as early reviews indicate, it should have a stronger word of mouth too. I think it can easily outsell the 5th and 6th generation MPs.

MGS3D had under 50,000 preorders. I think the HD collection killed its chances for sucess.

MGS3D has all year to push out more copies. The reviews have been decent, and the demo that Nintendo has put out should only help it along its path.

I would usually not be worried about Mario Party 9, but have you seen Rthym Heaven sales in the West? That was a shocker! Remember the DS version did great everywhere! People are losing interest in the Wii way too fast. Which is sad, because as I keep saying this year really will not be too bad for the Wii. Gamewise ;)

Not Bad for the Wii?!?!? It only has Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Party 9, Rhythm Heaven, Pandora's Tower, Retro City Rampage, Call of Duty, Skylanders 2, Epic Mickey 2, Lego Batman 2, Dragon Quest X, Just Dance, your usual sports games, movie tie ins...
