Double edged sword really, since that is really the market that Vita seems to be going after. Those that want to play "consoles" on the go.

(Funny because that is exactly what I don't care about the Vita, all I care about is niche games.....and those niche games are plentiful on the vita and 3DS.)

It can easily back fire on Sony. Especially with clunky controls due to no "actual" controller. It is double-sided though, some people do want it and a lot don't. I'm hoping the 3DS will have all of those niche titles like the DS. They were really interesting.

Well it is very small segment of the market. Infact it makes me consider the device twice combined with the longitivity of the device in relations to games I care about, if it wasn't  for the fact that I am planning on getting a lot of niche PSP JRPG as well as Vita niche JRPGs. A lot of PSP titles are in the store.

I just hope to god I never have to use the backtouchpad ever, similar to my opinions of sixaxis on PS3 controller.

I would also love the device if it eventually had a cable connecting to TV, as I don't see myself using it on the go...(kind of big for my pocket). Similar to how I play PSP games.
