Playstation Vita is doing very well so far, these numbers are for the $349.99 week before launch bundle.... so it should probably do double it's pre release for its first week in the U.S, as a lot of people switched their pre order to the $299 launch bundle that came with an 8GB card, free 3G, and a free PSN game.... so it should do over 150K week 2 in the U.S, probably 250-350K week 2 WW.

That seems reasonable. Lets hope that some smaller to medium releases can keep the system up and running untill E3, when we will probably see some big hitters announced for the rest of the year. Maybe at Sony gamers Day, if they want to let them out faster ( and that would be a great idea). I seriously dont get the hate the Vita is getting, lately more and more bundles pop up, that actually makes it seem like a sweet deal, and also a couple of surprise hits software wise, that I was not expecting. ALl it needs now is a MH and FF for Japan to proppel the sales, and a quality GTA/CoD/GT + a handfull of new IPs for the west, and Sony might have a solid software house on their hands. I still doubt the Vita will reach the PSPs (likely) 80 million installbase, but it could be far healthier software wise
