Wouldn't they say nearly 31M?  some articles say it hit 30M and others say over 30M, which one is more accurate with words?

Over 30M would mean between 30M and 30.4M, so we're wya off anyway.

actually last year microsoft announced over 50mil, and in their financials they were at 50.8mil, so companies don't always round up. Could be spot on. If they said we sold about 30mil that would be a different story.
