I just don't like it when a console that gets almost no new games outsells a console that gets all the new games. And Nintendo is shunning the Wii, so I like it when Wii gets what Nintendo deserves.

Look at the software list for Japan for this week, a lot of those titles were launched this christmas, yes you still have titles like Wii Party, but still the list focuses on relatively newer titles as well.  

Also to be fair, Nintendo can't do much for the wii anymore outside of NOA localization (stupid NOA). Since they now have to deal with Wii U and 3DS, Nintendo should really invest in more first party studios, so software droughts are rarer.
