Except that the only reason the PSP started outselling the DS was because the DS achieved total market saturation. It has sold 33million copies in a country of 127million people. There is a DS for more then 1 in 4 Japanese people. The psp has only started outselling the ds because of how few potential gamers there are left in Japan who don't already have a ds.
