2) Twisted Metal isn't a sequel. It's a reboot to the entire franchise. Jaffe himself stated that he understands the problem with a follow up to a 10 year old game (will be over a 11 when the game hits) and is treating the project as a new IP. The goal isn't to get people to remember what Twisted Metal was. It's to introduce everyone to Twisted Metal again. The game will be competing for sales like a New IP.
3) The same sorta goes for StarHawk. It's not like it's a direct sequel to Warhawk. It's gonna be marketed as something new.
