if you have played the older Hitman games you'd know about the nonelinear stuff.

Unfortauntely I haven't...during my younger days I thought that Agent 47 looked like an idiot and passed on the games, and by the time I was ready to jump in the games I couldn't find the time.

They're released recently all of them as a bundle on PC ,so it might be a good time to jump into the series.
