Why is the DSXL and the 3DS basically the same price?

So you are saying they are keeping the price high so people will be like, "Why should I buy the XL when it is the same price as the 3DS? Lets just get the better 3DS." Is that what you are saying? Wouldn't those same people just want to go out and pick up a DS lite or the other version of the DS? They are actually around 99 dollars I think.

Well i ment that the whole DS line is close to the 3DS price. And a DS Lite really isn't desirable anymore, so let's compare only the DSi and 3DS. With them just being $30 from each other, i think most people would gladly pay a little extra to get the 3DS no?
