The major problem is at this point everything the WiiU can do a PS3 and Vita can also do. Sony has shown it off with LBP, one player with the ps3 controller and another with the Vita using its touch screen.
This means both Sony and Nintendo could do all of these "revolutionary" ideas; Nintendo can't keep them exclusive unlike this gen.
