The loss of GC backwards compatibility isn't as big as no WiFi included... now you actually have to buy the official Nintendo USB adapter if you want to connect to the internet, and it takes away the convenience of being able to put your Wii anywhere in your house and still connect to the internet.

I didnt realize that the new Wii doesnt have any Internet capability. That is pretty limiting.

Actually I stand corrected... there were a couple of articles over the summer that said the upcoming Wii redesigns were allegedly going to drop the built-in WiFi in addition to the Gamecube b/c, but upon further research I haven't been able to confirm if this is actually the case, as no websites or product listings say that the Wii no longer has WiFi, only that they've eliminated GC b/c and that it no longer comes with a stand as the system lays flat.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
