i believe as well next xbox releasing not 2012 but i think it will relaese 2013 and no way 2014.
and if he says microsoft doesnt't need a new console because of the sales he should look at ps2 sales. then he will see sony didn't need a new cosnole as well but they released one.:

2001: 16m
2002: 21m
2003: 20m
2004: 16m
2005: 19m
so why did sony release a ps3? the ps2 sold brilliant!
but what i said i believe as well next box not 2012. they have still plenty of room with a price cut (that wasn't possible for ps2). but 2014? nahh i don't believe that.
