... I beat someone so he had to go to hospital and I didn't even get suspended. Don't get me wrong, I think the attack is horrible and I obviously feel sorry for the boy but I'm just unaware of how a normal beating would have been treated.

most schools round these parts have zero tolerance policies for violence and this kid would be expelled.
