RE5 petition for wii has over 33.000 sigs and cap still not saying anything

Exactly. That's why the combined profits of all 3rd parties are in the red.

Been saying that for a while, eventually developers have no other option than to bring their main games to Wii. The install base of the HD-consoles isn't big enough (yet?) to account for the highly increased costs. 

Of course Resident Evil will probably sell well, although I wonder if the 360 fanbase will love the games as much as the Nintendo gamers. I think IF RE5 comes to Wii it will be exclusive. No-one is waiting for a worse looking, better playing port. That way people that love RE4Wii will say "it looks better on the other consoles, I don't buy it" and HD-owners will say "It doesn't play as nice as the Wii version, I don't buy it". Of course this remark will stir reactions, but don't forget that RE-fans are quite hardcore and want the dfinitive version of the game (look at RE4Wii sales).

I think chances are still not big, but the longer Capcom waits to release info on the game, the higher the chances of it coming to Wii IMO.
