I wish some other company had invented Pokemon... we'd have a massive MMO world right now even bigger than WoW or Everquest.
Nintendo seems to think that technology and the average gamer's mindset is firmly stuck in 1998. I'm surprised they actually gave the DS/3DS WiFi capabilities instead of making people buy link cables and card readers separately to trade/play with others.
