WTH did you think I meant? You mentioned sales and I assumed you meant this year's because this year, the 360 sales are subpar. Also, even if I was talking about the entire gen, the 360's attachment rate shows that MS indeed caters to it's base(or at least ensures games that people want are still being made for it through 3rd parties, which can't be said for Nintendo)
Besides you said "catering" which I assumed you meant currently because it is in present tense. Don't be mean and try to make it seem as if I am just trying to back trace my statements, because I stand strongly by what I said. You inferred wrong.
Your original statement was beyond stupid, because even now it seems as if you are assuming that MS actually did accelerate their hardware refresh/new gen(which even now you assume will have adverse effects on the quality of the hardware), and yet the reality of the situation is that we don't know this, and even if the XBOX3 releases in 2013, you have to remember the 360 has been out 8 years since then, so it is not so farfetched that they planned to release then before the Wiiu's announcement. In other words, it appears to me that you getting all upset because you think that MS will pull another Rrod (not that I expect you to ever buy an Xbox), but the likely answer is that MS was going to lauch their next system in 2013 before the Wiiu's announcement. Usually your criticisms of MS are understandable, but this one is just stupid.
Of course that is what I thought you were implying from your statement, so I guess the first question I should have asked would be, "Can you elaborate?"
