lol at the Tales drop. 10k... After a 75k opening.

Namco Bandai expected it to sell 250k in Japan, just so people know.

Namco are idiots :P

But even so it is a disappointment. I was hoping it could breeze past 150k... i guess tales and sony just go well together

Only in Japan! North America it is Nintendo and Tales, when compared to PS2/PSP.

To be fair, I have no idea why a remake/port would do 250k in Japan. . . namely when it is typicaly for new games to just do a little above that level.

well to be fair afaik it's not much of a nintendo and tales land in the NA either...ps3 had no tales release yet in the NA (afaik) and tales of symphonia did around 40k above the tales of the world on psp...so i believe 360 has the highest numbers in the NA for Tales games...

but overall WW, no question, it's sony and Tales all the way...Let's see how Tales of Graces F does in NA and EMEAA to get a better idea.

Using NeoGaf NPD data:
Tales of Abyss - 68k
Tales of Legendia - 74k
Tales of Symphonia - 465k (GC stopped tracking Feb 07)
Tales of the World - 30k

Quoting another user who is also using NeoGaf NPD data: DotNW was at 138k or 139k while ToV was at 145k

Overall it seems Sony fans in North America don't seem to respond well, I mean Vesperia outsold Abyss and Legendia combined.

Graces F should do better, but the trend of Sony and Tales game isn't exactly the greatest.

I just love looking at Symphonia Sales. Brings me happiness the best one, had awesome sales, on a console that was poorly recieved.

Add: Honestly sony fans, for the love of a god support Tales of Graces F, I don't want Tales series to become Japanese only series. With that said, when is Tales of X releasing in Japan?
