It did go up by 4k, which isn't that horrible. However it remains bad. With Ps3 starting to decline in the market, the console outlook is pretty bad in Japan. 

@Nyanks, until you look at the WW PSP market (HW and SW)....and go PSvita couldn't get here sooner

Actually went up 2800, I can imagin in a few weeks Wii will be sub 6k. Pretty horrible imo ...

But yeah I agree, overall it's not looking healthy at all ...

I don't know why Nintendo didn't drop the price on hardware in Japan. It did decently for the wii WW, why not in the home market.
