Not if your using this contraption, the new zapper now has a meaning.

if shooters dont' use that they are dumb.  you get the precision of the wiimote and get to ALSO use teh new controller.

just need nintnedo to team up with say Call of Duty modern warfare 4 and have this zapper bundled with it or something to get a good number of these out there so that others feel comfortable developing with it in mind.

Yes. I can clearly see the wii zapper put to good use this time around. Using IR when pointing at the screen, and the U controller as a hub (or sniping scope). But the action could come from your left, forcing you to move quickly the gun to that direction and shot the foe off-screen. It'll something new that can't be done elsewhere.
