My favorite real life story would probably be considered trolling because it involves RROD, so I will opt for my boring one. :P
Several months ago, I was talking with my Asian friend about the ps3, wii, pc, and 360(him being pc biased and me being ps3 biased) when another friend of ours who was 360 biased came to talk about games too. Instead of being kind towards his preferences, we began to bash the 360 and kinect for around 30 minutes(not even really arguing good points, mainly just calling it inaccurate and glitchy despite neither of us admitting to never playing it, but he did not know otherwise) until finally he switched the subject towards minecraft, at which point I felt alienated because I am the only one of them who has never played this supposed masterpiece. They then reconciled their differences by looking at each others similarities. I on the other decided to brag about the ps3's excellent upcoming 2011 lineup and continue to bash the opposing consoles. :P
Now that I think about it though, I rarely talk about video games to people I hang out with. Just not a thing most of my friends and I have in common lol.
