No because DQX has been in development since 2008, while the otehr ones might have recently started development. I doubt they have been idevelopment since 2009 or before because it wouldn't take much time to make a spin-off compared to a mainline game.

Not necessarily. DQ IV, V, and VI were announced July 2007. IV was released later that year but DQ V wasn't until late 2008 and DQ VI until early 2010. A Wii DQ remake should take longer.

That's because the same team was making the trilogy if I'm not mistaken. So it was 1 game at a time. 3DS was probably revealed to developers in 2009 so they might have switched the development to 3DS as early as 2009, and that's be before they even considered making anotehr DQ game for the Wii. And then with the 2010 confirmation to devs that Wii successor was on its way, I'd doubt anyone in their right minds would chose to develop a Wii game. It's either move the little development made to the 3DS in 2009 or scratch the project. Many cancelled projects are being blamed to the Earthquake, but that's just an excuse devs are using to justif cancelling games. Like Momotarou Railway or Disaster Report 4, or the 3DS games.

I think that if there were some Wii games still unannounced, then it's probable that they have been scratched off or simply moved to 3DS. Moving to Wii 2 may also be possible if Nintendo asked those companies to do so in order to have support at launch and onwards.
