But Crysis 2 may have to depend on word of mouth (if it's strong), because it may not outsell Homefront week 1. I think this was either a bad time to launch, the lack of marketing hurt it, or it's not something people care for.
Mortal Kombat is probably going to have a substantially bigger opening on PS3, although that's not really shocking given the controller preference and additon of Kratos.

It's ovvertracking Reach by a mile! There is no way Uncharted will be bigger than this! Oh and btw the Reach sales at around the same period of time.

The only reason Gears 3 is out pacing Reach at this moment is because of the beta. If Reach aloud you to get the beta for pre-ordering it would have been much larger. Gears 3 will have a huge launch week, but not as big as Reach. I predict 3 million first week and 2 million more than Gears 2 lifetime.

ya gears beta is approaching and preorders double. When the halo reach beta was announed with odst, odst sales tripled for a few weeks and odst was quite a bit more expencive then a preorder then. Not going to be close to as big as reach. It will still have the biggest opening for an exclusive on the hd consoles this year though.
