Because the numbers are estimations that can be, and have been "wrong" on many occasions.

Personally I agree with Kowen. I just don't get how you can have that big of a gut feeling that the numbers you have are wrong (I said big, because the gap between 360 numbers stated and the other two consoles, was somewhat large). Even random educated guesses for this month provided by Pachter pointed clearly to the 360.
