Hell, if SONY screwed up and I had a chance to get free money on my PSN account you bet your ass I would do it!

this is hardly free money.  people who use these codes will be banned.  every card has a specific code on it...microsoft knows who redeems these codes.  if someone in the next couple of days redeems tens of thousands of points, microsoft can demand proof of purchase from them.  when someone comes along with the card that has a used code, microsoft can fix it and whoever used the code previously will be banned.
