A little easter egg was found in a Nintendo 3DS Teardown
When the microphone picks up the characteristic noise of wind blowing by the device, it will spin the background live icons in the top screen as if they were in a tornado. :D
Also I didn't notice the 3DS had an IR port. What is that used for?
EDIT: To asnwer myself. Just noticed it might be used for game backwards compatibility or to use with the pedometers, maybe an additional way to obtain coins? They could release compatible software online now since there is no need for an IR port in the card. Hmmm, thought on buying these before but the use seemed limited.
