Then keep your GCN/Wii.  Nintendo's not going to keep paying for those memory card/controller ports and dual optical drive when so few people really demand it.  Hell, if there's a Wii revision, I expect them to drop GCN playback to shave costs.

Look at the GB Micro, DSi, or other handhelds... Nintendo's backwards compatibility only tends to go so far.

Good thing I evolved from a console gamer to a person that just plays the games he likes.
