From the business side of things, it really does look like the ps3 is the loser. It might have helped define Blu-ray, but as a product ROI, it is one of the biggest losers in technology for a long time.
From marketshare size, it is again a huge loser, it went from 70% to what it is at currently.
From a consumer side, it is a complete winner, I mean a device can do just about anything, and plays a massive library.
