I have seen many times when something that was supposed to be impossible to happen. And you also didn't read all of my points. You seem to have forgotten that the 3DS is only launching in Japan right now, so it won't just "outsell DS every week of the year, case closed". Just for the information, the GBA still outsold the DS months after it's launch in Novemeber 2004 (up to February to be more specific), and after that, in March, the DS was released in Europe as well, but some weeks after this, the GBA was still selling on par with the DS (a difference of 15.000 - 20.000 units). In the end of 2005, the year the DS was full on, it has sold about 11 millions and the GBA almost 9 millions, only a 2 millions difference. And given the factors I wrote on the OP, yes, I believe the DS to outsell the 3DS in 2011.
