Going with the translation mistake gang here. Until I hear anything about DQX I will remain doubtful about any other game making it to the Wii. After all, the only game they made for the Wii so far was DQ Swords back in 2007.
DQM Battle Road Victory was an enhanced arcade port, so not made specifically for the Wii, it was just an afterthought. I doubt they'll remake DQVII it simply doesn't need to be remade. DQ IV-VI went from 2D to 3D, that's understandable. Perhaps if they were remaking DQ I-III that would make more sense.
I still doubt we will hear anything about DQX until TGS and then I'd expect the game to be released after E3 2012. There's no DQVII remake coming up, quote me on that if you want. BTW Genius Sonority has probably been working on that Pokemon Wii game Iwata talked about earlier this year.
Edit: I cannot believe I mistaken DQVIII with DQVII, a remake makes sense.
