Okay, news is in, and it sold 114K, but this was all that was available, and sold out quickly.


The initial shipment was of 126k untis, meaning there were still 12k available on shelves, that's not a complete sell out. First day figures were 75k according to Famitsu, meaning that not all the remaining 50k units were sold during the week. Second shipment had probably arrived before the week ended, so that means there's no supply problems. Demand is just not that big it seems, retailers preordered the correct amount.


It still means demand is there, which is more than many admit for a Wii title.

It's in no way a bad start for the title, but earlier reports gave another impression. That's why I always prefer to wait for the final numbers.
