Seece, give up, these people don't want to hear such things. NSMBWii is responsible for every single hardware sale the last year and-a half and price doesn't matter etc.
, I know it's like talking to a brick wall, it's kinda embarssing they think NSMB did what they claim though.
Then why did Wii sales magcally jump to 4million in a slow year, still beating out last year's numbers?
Price cut, I don't care if you refuse to believe that, but that's the answer. Just like Wii jumping up massivel this holiday from such a lul summer, all those good value bundle.
All about the $$$

As I said in the post right after yours...
IMO Price doesn't determine system sales but the games, Items, and features do. Yes this includes Motion controls. Price helps determine when a system sells but not how much a system sells in the end.
No offense but I don't think you know what you're talking about or have a clue about the industry and how sales work.
Why would I take offense to that LOL? Its only an opinion and I respect your opinion.
Like I said though...If the Gamecube was $50 and the PS2 was $200 PS2 would still have outsold it because of its games even though G.C is 25% of the PS2 price. Yes, I agree the Price Cut in 2009 helped the Wii sell a lot more during the Holiday's but in the end the Wii still would have sold the same amount lifetime if it didn't have a Price Cut in 2009. Say the Price Cut was in 2010 instead of 2009. Wii sales in 2010 would be huge and 2009's wouldn't be as big. Overall the sales would have evened out and been the same in the end.
