Kind of defeats the purpose of going from the DS to the 3DS.

Um, the increased processing power, analog stick, widescreen, and new games can still be enough, especially the latter.

PSP with a touchscreen?

Xperia Play phone, minus the 2nd analog stick? O_o

While I agree with you that the 3DS is too expensive, I doubt they will release a non-3D version.

All I'm arguing is that it's possible, and it would be one solution if they need to make the price more reasonable.

But I do predict a price cut soon, revision or no, as Nintendo stated it was the E3 response that made them think the price would be worth it, and E3 is not the best indicator of the mainstream.

Can we all at least agree that a price cut is likely if the sales are hurt but the current price?

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Nintendo flat out say that they are charging so much for the 3DS because they realized too late that they could have charged more for the the DS?

I am sure they could make the thing cheaper, only they choose not to because they want more money.

Remember, Nintendo never sells at a loss.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
