Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that an error message limited to Internet Explorer?
I've certainly never seen it on Firefox or Chrome, and Safari has pretty much no user interface to speak of, so a quick fix is to try changing browser. If that fixes the problem, it's a compatibility issue. You could try reinstalling IE, if you're desperate to use it for whatever reason.
