I'm so glad CoD is doing so good!

The Wii version must disappoint some people (especially those who were expecting it to outsell the PS3 and the 360 version lawl lawl lawl!)

Who on earth believed the Wii version of COD would outsell the HD versions?? I want some of what they are smokin..

Though I do think the Wii version will have far better legs than most people realize.

i don't particularly remember anyone (seriously) claiming that the wii version of CoD would outsell the HD versions but i could easily drag up a good 2-3 dozen threads from nintendo fans claiming that 3rd parties are at fault for their low sales and that if they just made a high quality game that wasn't a late port that the "core" would buy wii games.

so here is CoD BO, all of the reviews say is very high quality, not gimped, not late....where are the sales?  never mind outselling the HD version, less than 20k is just miserable.  I guess those stellar goldeneye sales must be to blame...

Yes, some sales are of Goldeneye to blame, but still, you're looking at it the same way as everyone looks at a Nintendo Wii sales. Let me show you something: http://gamrreview.vgchartz.com/sales/13684/boom-blox/

Everyone said the game was a flop because of it's first month perfonce, but behold: the game has sold over 1 million copies. Not exactly my definion of a flop.

Then let me show these:

It's true that they didn't sell as good as the HD version, but that was expected, and yet all of them sold a lot over a million. Now just watch it's legs.

Boom Blox had great legs because it was selling at a price point of 19,99$ or something like that. What a company wants is to sell a lot first week because that's when they make the most money per unit. It's not only about the # of sales.

Not true at all. At least not for all games.

Above: still the best game of the year.
