I think GT5 will sell well, and it will give the PS3 a boost. But I think two factors will keep it from being a huge boost. First I think the majority of GT fans already have PS3s. They bought it when GT5p came out. Secondly, I don't think casual gamers are as into racing sims as they were ten years ago. Because of this I don't believe GT5 will boost sales much more than other popular exclusives and it definitly won't have the same effect as the price cut and redesign had on sales.
