Will the PS3 be able to outsell the Wii in Japan any week this year?

PS3 wins another week, this time by 11k, extending the streak to 15 consecutive weeks.
It has officially won enough weeks to at least tie with the Wii, with 26 out of 52 possible weeks, so 1 more and it would mean an overall yearly victory.

So GT5 and the GT5 bundle have been confirmed for a November 25th release in Japan, and that might be the week when PS3 finally gets to beat the Wii in total number of weeks and claim a yearly victory. It could happen sooner though, with the Torne PS3 bundle coming out Nov 18th.

Next week will be interesting as well, Wii will be getting Red Wii bundle, so it will most probably cut the 15 consecutive week streak the PS3 has gotten. Then until year's end, it will be anyone's guess which console will remain on top. Personally I expect fluctuations with PS3 beating the Wii less times, but remember 1 more time and PS3 will be the weekly king of sales this year in Japan.
